DEKKO Art Studio

DEKKO was born from a year of global travel, sketchbooks, and soul work. After stepping away from corporate life in 2016, I returned home with crates of original artwork and a renewed desire to build something deeply personal. To build a brand rooted in gratitude, creativity, community, and everyday inspiration.

Art Made for Living. Expression in Motion.

I officially launched DEKKO in 2017 as a multidisciplinary studio and e-commerce brand. From the ground up, I developed the visual identity, designed every product, and art directed photoshoots to bring the vision to life. I sourced and managed vendors, collaborated with writers, photographers, models, and SEO experts, and built the Shopify site myself—learning the platform in real time.

Whether designing a new clothing piece, prepping a shoot, or working at my drafting table, DEKKO remains my creative home. The studio reflects my deep appreciation for material process and artistic heritage, shaped by a wide range of influences across design, fashion, and art history.

In 2020, I returned to Nike but DEKKO remains a personal creative outlet and space for connection, where artistic exploration continues to shape how I live and create. Always inspired. Always DEKKO style.

FOUNDER + ARTIST : direct access

Art can celebrate life's ephemeral moments by capturing beauty and motion with clean-line work and vivid colored patterns. Working from real life subjects, landscapes, and my subconscious, the serene and the surreal merge into one. My favorite mediums to create with are KRINK, Copic Ink Pens, Acrylic, and Dry Pigments.

Utilizing footage for the 2018 collection photoshoot I used a fish-eye lense on my Sony, placing it on a tripod downstage of the shooting area. The footage that we got turned out to be perfect for the time lapse video you see here, telling the DEKKO brand story in a new and vivid way. Getting a behind the scenes look at how the DEKKO high-gloss apparel photos are created.
